45% of African Electronic Cigarette Users Quit Smoking In Less Than 8 Weeks!
Ok we all know that the FDA is trying to keep the electronic cigarette down. So you can never really trust any kind of negative e-cigarette news story that is coming out of the USA, because most likely it is false. So when I look for electronic cigarette news I try to look on a more national scale. After all I would much rather trust news from a country who's government does not have so much to loose.
Here is a really good news article that I recently read. The news article is about African doctors who have done a study on smokers by replacing their analog cancer sticks with good old Electronic Cigarettes from some Dutch company called Twisp. In this study 349 smokers where given the Twisp electronic cigartte. To say the least the results where phenominal.
One of the most amazing parts of this study is that 6% of the smokers quit smoking in less than 2 weeks. At the end of the 8 week study the percentage of smokers who all together dropped the habit rose to 45%. Now that is 45% of smokers who no longer even use an electronic cigarette. Thats right, just quit smoking all together. And the FDA says that electronic cigarettes cannot be used as a cessation device.
Well apparently New Zeland, Africa and a slew of other countries around the world are putting the electronic cigarette on a pedistal and praising it for helping so many lives. After all the ECA (electronic cigarette association) has shown that electronic cigarettes can reduce tobacco related illness and death to under 1% of what it currently is. With that being said, why wouldnt you praise the electronic cigarette? But try asking that to a govenment that puts money before the lives of its citizens.
